Desirae starting out tap dancing at the age of
three, then quickly transitioned to gymnastics
when she started cartwheeling in her tap shoes.
At the age of seven, she traded gymnastics for
competitive cheerleading and never looked back.
She soon went on to win multiple National titles,
and at the young age of 13 she was scouted at an
out of state competition. Little did she know that
would be the start of her sponsorships and her
coaching career. She went on to win multiple Regional and National competitions, while helping the kids in the gym advance in their skills.
Fast forward to 2010, Desirae suffered a sever injury. She tore her ACL and needed to have reconstructive surgery. She remained positive and hopefully and vowed to return to the sport she loved. She rehabbed and never lost her spirit and finally got the sponsorship of her dreams in 2011- a full ride to cheer at The California All-Starts on the level five team of her choice.
She went on to make history with them- cheering on their premier team SmoEd their very first year and winning NCA Nationals their first season. Her role quickly transitioned into team captain and she was sent to their new location in Las Vegas to cheer and coach for two seasons. She won a silver medal at the Cheerleading Worlds Finals in Orlando, FL and won the Majors Championship in Indianapolis, Indian with California All-Stars ACES.
Since her cheerleading career, Desirae has moved to Los Angeles and used her skills for film. She’s worked with recording artists and companies such as Adidas and Macy’s. Her true passion however is passing down her love for tumbling. The thing that made her who she is today.
